Shipment tracking gives you a clearer view of a deliveryโs progress from dispatch onward. To get useful results, start with the tracking number provided when the shipment was booked and enter it on the carrierโs tracking page.
Start with the right number
Check the tracking number carefully before submitting it. Similar characters can be easy to mix up, especially zero and the letter O. If you have more than one parcel, make sure you are checking the number for the correct shipment.
Allow time for new scans
A shipment may not show its first update immediately after booking or collection. Tracking information changes when the parcel is scanned at different points in its journey, so there can be a gap between updates while it is moving between facilities or transport legs.
Read updates in context
Common tracking messages can indicate that a label was created, the parcel was received, it is moving through the network, it is out for delivery or delivery was attempted. Exact wording varies by carrier and service. If an update is unclear, use the tracking page details and contact the courier for help.
If progress seems delayed
First, confirm the tracking number and check again later for a new scan. Review any delivery instructions or notices for information the courier may need. When contacting support, share your tracking number and a short description of what you need so the team can locate the shipment.
